My Opinion About MistressKent:
Going into Mistress Kent's site, I expected a lot of wicked and wild things. After all, this is a femdom and she's into tortuous CBT play and even scissor play. From the tour, I knew that she's also the webmistress and that the site might be a bit amateur, so I was prepared for it. Also, the tour reveals that she has a live-in transvestite slave, Christina, whom she also subjects to being a human ashtray amongst all the other things.
The members' area design is not my cup of tea, but it's something I anticipated. It's easy to see that there are updates two to four times a month, which is not exactly 2-3 times weekly. On the tour she promises live dungeon feeds, so I thought maybe this is where the numerous updates came in, but inside the site I couldn't find live feeds. I truly felt confused at first, but once I got my bearings, it was easy to see that all photos and videos are conveniently located in their own galleries and they're also divided into strap-on anal, smoking fetish, boots 'n shoes and fetish misc. categories. The site is relatively new, so I imagine there are still some bugs to work out and changed to be made, so I won't be too harsh on design and navigation issues and I won't spend another second on the matter.
Aside from her live-in, Mistress Kent also has other slaves and the newest scene description reveals that Christina is often present when the Mistress decides to indulge in the domination of another, which introduces an interesting dynamic. I enjoyed the brief little descriptions, but they only seem to be available for updates. There aren't descriptions for the photosets and I think this would added a greater personal dimension to the site. For example, a set called 'Before I became a Mistress' caught my attention. When I open the gallery, there are only thumbnail photos. It would have been fabulous to find out why Mistress Kent included this set in her gallery, or perhaps even give a little background as to why she became a Mistress.
In any case, the gallery currently houses 11 photo sets and there are 12 videos listed in the video gallery and there are 27 mixed videos and photos spread throughout the category galleries. It's confusing, but at least when looking through the categories, you do find scene descriptions.
Mistress Kent is a self-proclaimed amateur and so the 800x600 photos and the Windows Media Videos (768kbps, 640x480) all have a homemade look to them. The clarity of both the pictures and movies is good and it didn't take long to download any video, which is great. There are full videos and there are parts that you can also stream. There are 10 or more minutes for every film, but it depends on the scenario. I never once heard the Mistress raise her voice, (not to say she doesn't) but it's an approach I particularly love because there's a lot more power and mystery in an even, stern demand than an animated one. In the film I watched, Mistress Kent remains clothed as her naked sub kneels and licks her boots clean. Final Verdict:
I really don't mind that Mistress Kent is an amateur site. She never pretends to be anything she's not and it's obvious from the videos that both the Mistress and her slaves truly enjoy indulging in BDSM. The site is fresh out of the starting gate at this point, and while the it does have its problems, the content is genuine and quality.
